The failure of the deal to join Ovi Ejaria to Zamalek
Zamalek Club issued an official statement today, Friday, confirming the failure of the deal to join Englishman Ovi Ejaria to the club's ranks.
The player participated in a friendly match for Al-Abyad against Petrojet, which ended with the latter winning 2-1.
Zamalek said in its statement: “The club is progressing With sincere thanks and appreciation to the player Ovi Ejaria, for the period he spent with the team, and club officials affirm their appreciation and respect for the player.”
He added: “Zamalek Club thanks the player for his understanding of the White Castle policy.” Regarding the team’s support for the new season, club officials confirm that selecting new deals is the responsibility of the Portuguese Jose Gomez, the coach of the club’s first football team, in coordination with the Board of Directors, in order to optimally support the team in the coming period.
He continued: “The Zamalek club wanted to preserve its rights and monitor the player physically and technically during a 10-day trial period, while the player wanted to sign the transfer contracts for the team within 48 hours, so the club decided to thank him.”
