Yasser Al-Qahtani attacks the Saudi national team coach

Yasser Al-Qahtani, the former Al Hilal star, attacked Roberto Mancini, the Saudi national team coach, after losing to the Japanese national team, 2-0, in the Asian qualifiers. Qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

Al-Qahtani said in statements on the beIN Sports network: “Mancini decided to return to his same futile method in the second half, which prevented us from achieving a draw. Rather, we conceded the second goal.”

He added: “I don’t know why Mancini plays this way. Does he want the Saudi national team not to play well?”

He continued: “After we appeared well in the first half, Mancini decided to deprive us of the danger of Salem Al-Dosari by entering deep, and I do not know the secret behind that matter.”

He concluded his speech: “From my point of view, the mistakes that Mancini commits are not made by a novice coach. He plays randomly and the national team does not know how to play.”
