Hossam Hassan makes strong statements against the Football Association

Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, expressed strong words towards those responsible for Egyptian football.

The Pharaohs are preparing to play their match against Mauritania in the third and fourth rounds of the 2025 African Nations qualifiers.

Hossam Hassan asked during the press conference for the match that the Egyptian league should have a large format like the Arab leagues.

The Pharaohs coach also confirmed that this will not happen unless officials with a clean heart and mind take over, and get rid of the old clinging to Egyptian football for the last 10 or 15 years.

The coach said: “Do not bring them back, as the 2019 African Nations Championship, which Egypt hosted, is testimony to that.”

Hassan explained that this is advice from someone who has spent his whole life in football and wants the Egyptian League to be the strongest thing.
