Zamalek requests delaying the start of its match with Pyramids

Zamalek Club sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association requesting that the start date of its match against Pyramids in the Egyptian Super Cup, which will be held in the Emirates, be postponed.

Zamalek will meet its counterpart Pyramids in the Egyptian Super Cup semi-final match, on Sunday, October 20th.

Abdel Wahed El-Sayed, director of football at Zamalek Club, said that his club addressed the Football Association to postpone the date of the Pyramids match in the Egyptian Super Cup semi-finals, scheduled for October 20, by one hour.

The tournament organizing committee had set the match to be held at exactly four o’clock and five minutes in the afternoon on the specified day, and Zamalek requested that the match be postponed for an hour.

Zamalek officials requested to delay the start of the match, due to the high temperature at this time in the Emirates, and the club’s desire to help its fans attend more.
