Kyle Walker defended the England national team, after a disappointing draw against its Danish counterpart with a goal for each team in the second round of the 2024 European Nations Cup held in Germany.
He said Walker said in statements after the match: “It is a big tournament and Denmark is a good team. We are at the top of the group. We scored a goal and were close to winning. We will try to get everything positive.”
The Manchester City star added: “The coach wants us to play in attack, but sometimes you have to manage the game well. You can’t always get the three points. We could have done better and we know this, but we are still at the top of the group.”< /p>
Regarding the next match against Slovenia, he said: “All the players know that we must perform better than we did today. We must win, but the fans always want us to score 3 or 4.” Goals and crushing competitors, but this is not football.”
