Al-Ahly denies El-Shenawy’s request for 50 million to extend his contract
Al-Ahly club officials want to extend the contract of Mohamed El-Shenawy, the team’s goalkeeper, which expires at the end of next season.
According to press sources, Mohamed Ramadan, The sports director of Al-Ahly club received the green light from Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president, to begin negotiations with Mohamed El-Shenawy to extend his contract, which will take place after the two Egyptian Super Cup matches.
Reports indicated that Al-Ahly denies El-Shenawy’s request for 50 million per season in order to extend his contract with the team, because the administration has not officially negotiated with the goalkeeper yet.
Mohamed El-Shenawy is considered one of the main pillars of Al-Ahly club’s lineup over the past years.
