Mido talks about why Benzema is shining this season
Mido said in statements on the “Dorina Ghare” program: “The departure of Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah is the reason for Karim Benzema’s brilliance this season, because their playing style is very similar, and thus Al-Ittihad failed to bring them together.”
He added: "This does not diminish Hamdallah's capabilities, as he is a great player without a doubt... It was difficult to rely on the two at the same time."
He continued: “Benzema is a great player and proved that to everyone during the current season. He bears responsibility for the team on and off the field, because he has extensive experience that enables him to lead the federation.”
Al-Ittihad had terminated Hamdallah's contract last summer and the player joined Al-Shabab Club for free.
