Gomez is waiting for the inclusion of a defender and focal point for Zamalek

Portuguese Jose Gomez, coach of Zamalek, expressed his desire to sign a defender and defensive anchor before the end of the current summer transfer period.

According to press sources, Jose Gomez, coach of Zamalek, inquired from the administration about the fate of contracting with a defender and a defensive midfielder this summer, as the team needs them next season.

The sources indicated that Gomez is waiting for the club’s management to inform him of the developments in the two deals due to his desire to develop a preparation program for them before competing in the Egyptian Super Cup scheduled for October 20 to 24 in the Emirates.

Zamalek will face its counterpart, Pyramids, in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup, on October 20th, and if it wins, it will meet the winner of Al-Ahly and Ceramica in the final, on the 24th of the same month.
