Al-Ahly announces its desire to play the Super Cup match with a foreign refereeing team
Mohamed Ramadan, the sports director of Al-Ahly Club, announced his club’s desire to have a foreign refereeing team to officiate its match against Ceramica, scheduled for October 20th, in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup, which will be held in the Emirates.
Mohamed Ramadan explained in television statements that, starting with the Ceramica match in the Egyptian Super Cup semi-final, his administration will request a foreign refereeing team.
The referees committee of the Egyptian Football Association decided to assign the local Super Cup matches to Egyptian refereeing crews.
The winner of the Al-Ahly and Ceramica match will face the winner of the Zamalek and Pyramids match, in the Egyptian Super Cup final, October 24th.
