Hussein Abdel Ghani: Al-Ahly needs reinforcements
Hussein Abdel-Ghani, the former Saudi Al-Ahly player, believes that Al-Raqi needs 4 senior players to strengthen the team's ranks.
Al-Ahly lost 2-1 to Al-Hilal last Saturday in the sixth round of the Saudi League, and the club currently ranks tenth with only 7 points.
Abdul Ghani said in statements to the “Dorina Ghair” program: “Al-Ahly needs great support, and I think it needs 4 great players.”
He continued: “The team needs a striker New and also a pivotal midfielder, and a center back as the most prominent positions that need support, and we know that Al-Ahly is the team that was supported the least this summer.”
He concluded his speech: “When I criticized Riyad Mahrez for commenting on the weakness of the reinforcements, this is because the transfer window has already closed and there is no room to talk about the need for new elements from a player on the same team.”
