Al-Ittihad doctor requires Al-Abboud to wear a face mask
Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud, the Jeddah Football Association player, suffered a facial injury during his team’s match against Al-Ain, which was held in the 32nd round of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup competition.
Al-Aboud is scheduled to wear a face mask during group training at the request of the club doctor, next Wednesday, after the leave granted by Frenchman Laurent Blanc, the team’s coach, to all players.
Blanc gave Al-Ittihad players a passive rest from training during the current pause, which coincides with the Saudi national team’s matches in the third and fourth rounds of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup finals. .
