Neuer equals Buffon's historic record in the Euros
Manuel Neuer, the German national team goalkeeper, achieved a record, after participating in a match, within the second round of the group stage of Euro 2024.
The Opta statistics network said Neuer has become the most participating goalkeeper in Euro history with 17 matches, shared with Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Neuer’s previous participations came in 5 matches in Euro 2012, And 6 matches in Euro 2016, 4 matches in Euro 2020, and two matches in this edition.
The German team qualified for the round of 16 after defeating Hungary 2-0, while He had won the first round 5-1.
