Awad: The African Super Cup comes before the local Super Cup
Mohamed Awad, the goalkeeper of Zamalek Club, revealed that he expected him to save a penalty kick from Yahya Attia Allah, the left back of Al-Ahly Club, in the African Super Cup match.
Awad said in statements TV: “I watched more than one penalty kick taken by Moroccan Yahya Attia Allah, and there was great success in saving the penalty kick wonderfully.”
He continued: “I hope to win more than one title with the Zamalek team next season and to make the White Castle fans happy during the coming period.”
He continued: “From my point of view, winning the African Super Cup is a strong boost for the players before the local Super Cup in the Emirates, and I hope to win the title officially.”
He added: “Zamalek had a great motivation to beat Al-Ahly in the African Super Cup and open the new season with a continental championship.”
He continued: “What some people do not know is that I did not hesitate to renew my contract with Zamalek Club, and I was clear from the beginning that I am under Zamalek’s command at any time.”
He concluded: “I did not hesitate to renew my contract with Zamalek Club. I renewed my contract with Zamalek, and the contract renewal matters were completed in a respectful manner with the Board of Directors at the White Castle.”
