Officially... Real Madrid announces the nature of Courtois' injury
The Spanish club Real Madrid announced in an official statement the nature of the injury to its Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, which he suffered yesterday against Atletico Madrid.
The club said: “After The examinations conducted today on our player Thibaut Courtois by Real Madrid's medical services showed that he was diagnosed with an injury to the abductor in his left leg.
The Royal Club did not reveal the duration of the goalkeeper's absence. However, he is scheduled to miss the matches against Lille and Villarreal before the next international break.
The Royal Club hopes that the player will return in the Celta Vigo match after the break.
