Ten Hag: Fernandes does not deserve to be sent off, and this is what we have to do

Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag appeared in press statements after the 3-0 loss to Tottenham in the sixth round of the English Premier League.

He noted: “We had our chances before the end of the first half, and in the second half with 10 players we also had chances. Bruno Fernandes’ expulsion had a clear impact on the match. But I don't think he deserved a red card."

He concluded:"We have to deal with this matter and show flexibility. This is not good enough. We have to accept this and improve. We are focused on the next match and doing things better than we did today.”
