Gomez leaves Cairo, and this is the time for his return
Zamalek Club revealed, today, Sunday, that Portuguese coach Jose Gomez, the team’s coach, had left Cairo, after winning the African Super Cup at the expense of Al-Ahly.
The club announced Zamalek, in its statement, said that the Portuguese coach’s assistants, Andre Pique, the general coach, Luis Vicente, the goalkeeper coach, and Joao Miguel, the load planner, have left to spend their vacation period.
He is scheduled to return. Gomez and his assistants will return to Cairo next Friday, after giving the players a break from group training for 6 days, after returning from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Zamalek is scheduled to resume, Group training next Saturday, in preparation for the new season, the local Super Cup and the African Confederation Cup, in addition to the Egyptian Premier League championship.
