Firmino: Our team has been wronged

Al-Qadisiyah defeated Al-Ahly 1-0 yesterday, Friday, in a match in the fifth round of the Saudi Roshan League.

Firmino said via the network SSC Channels: “We were subjected to injustice in the Al-Qadisiyah match. The opponent received an incorrect penalty kick, which killed the match for us, and we were better in some matters.”

He added:" We clearly made some mistakes in the match, which also caused the loss. It is true that we did not play strongly in the last matches, but we showed great character and spirit against Al-Qadisiyah.”

He continued his speech: “As I mentioned, refereeing errors and some individual matters were what caused us to lose the match. We tried a lot in the second half, but we did not score, unfortunately.”

He concluded: “We will work with all force during the coming period to correct the path and the mistakes we committed, as we faced a difficult opponent who possesses many weapons that have demonstrated their quality.”
