Mohamed Awad, the goalkeeper of Zamalek, sent a message to his team’s fans after achieving the African Super Cup title against Al-Ahly.
Zamalek was crowned champion. The African Super Cup after defeating Al-Ahly on penalties 4-3, in the match hosted by the “Kingdom Arena” stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Friday evening.
Awad wrote via His account on the social networking site “X”: “The great Zamalek fans were always on time. We all worked hard as a team to make you happy, and thank God for winning and crowning the African Super Cup.”
Mohamed Awad added: “Thank you for the constant support and assistance. You are always No. 1 to the great Zamalek fans.”
