Former Zamalek star Ahmed Hassan confirmed, citing a source, that Al-Ahly coach Marcel Kohler had been granted permission to take a short leave.
Ahmed Hassan said on Facebook: “Source: Marcel Koehler received permission from Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club president and general football supervisor, to travel to Switzerland for a short vacation after the African Super Cup.” To check on his family before returning to prepare for the match against Al Ain, UAE.
Ahly is currently preparing for the African Super Cup match against Zamalek scheduled for next Friday.
The match will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will start at exactly nine o’clock in the evening, Cairo and Mecca time.
