Schubert attacks Zamalek's spokesman
Ahmed Shoubir attacked former Al-Ahly star Ahmed Salem, the official spokesman for Zamalek, after his reservations about the referee of the Al-Ahly-Zamalek match in the African Super Cup.
The African Super Cup match will be held next Friday at nine o'clock in the evening, Cairo and Mecca time.
Schubert said via His program on “On Time Sports FM”: “Ahmed Salem’s statement, in which I talk about arbitration, must remain in a point of order, because there is the official website of Zamalek, a channel, and an official page. When Zamalek wants to say something, it must remain through them, and this is normal.” .
He added: “When I remain an official spokesman, the speech must be balanced and sensitive as well. Then he came out yesterday and said we did not object, we only reserved.”
He continued: “I liked Mamdouh Abbas, the former president of Zamalek, when he said that I have no call for arbitration. People focus on the match and do not like to object to arbitration. He is a very responsible man.”
He concluded his speech: “I wish there was an objection that he would send it to CAF and object officially, whether to the refereeing, organization or anything, but things are going well now.”
