Imam Ashour talks about the African Super Cup match

Emam Ashour, Al-Ahly club star, spoke about the African Super Cup match between his team and Zamalek scheduled for next Friday.

Imam Ashour said on the official “CAF” website: “Al-Ahly is well aware of the task that awaits it on Friday when it faces its traditional rival, Zamalek, in the African Super Cup on Friday, September 27, in Riyadh.”

He added: "It is natural for all players to focus on preparing for the big match. Everyone is aware of their responsibility and how we must cover each other in this match. It will not be an easy match, but, God willing, we will be able to Reclaim the cup."

He continued: “Finals matches are always intense, and this match will be more difficult because of our confrontation with our rival Zamalek, but we cannot allow this to distract us from our preparations, and we will do our best on the field.”

He concluded: “We rely heavily on the support of our supporters, and we hope that they will accompany us as always, and God willing, we will all celebrate together at the end of the match.”
