Kohler gives Al-Ahly players a break from training
Ahmed Hassan, the former Egyptian national team star, revealed a surprising decision from Kohler before the African Super Cup match next Friday.
The Al-Ahly and Zamalek match in the African Super Cup will be held next Friday, September 27, at nine o’clock in the evening, Cairo and Mecca time, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Ahmed Hassan said on Facebook: “Swiss Marcel Kohler has decided to give his team’s players a passive rest from training tomorrow, Monday, and will resume training on Tuesday in preparation for facing Zamalek in the African Super Cup.”
Ahly qualified for the Super Cup by winning the African Champions League championship, while Zamalek qualified after winning the Confederation Cup championship title.
