Al-Dardir praises Ahmed Fathi and comments on his retirement
Sports critic Amr El Dardir praised Pyramids star Ahmed Fathi and commented on his decision to retire from football.
Al-Dardir said on Facebook: “This is almost the last player from the golden generation of the Egyptian national team. From my point of view, he is considered one of the best players in the history of Egypt in his position. May God grant him success in what comes next.”
Pyramids club star Ahmed Fathi announced today his retirement from football through the MBC Misr channel in the analysis studio for the Al-Ahly and Jormahia match.
Ahmed Fathi is 39 years old and has played for several clubs, including: Al-Ismaily, Al-Ahly, Hull City, Sheffield United, and finally the Pyramids Club, with which he won the Egyptian Cup last edition.
