Injury strikes Zamalek duo before meeting Al-Ahly
The Zamalek team suffered a painful blow with the injury of two players in its ranks during the Kenyan police match that took place yesterday evening, Friday, as part of the African Confederation Cup tournament.
Mostafa Shalaby and Nabil Dunga, the Zamalek duo, were injured during a confrontation with the Kenyan police in the second leg of the 32nd round of the Confederation Championship.
Dr. Mohamed Osama, head of Zamalek’s medical staff, indicated that Mustafa Shalabi and Nabil Donga suffered an injury consisting of a mild bruise in the ankle.
Mohamed Osama confirmed that the condition of the duo, Shalabi and Dunga, is reassuring, and the two players will undergo further medical examinations in the coming hours to check on them.
The Zamalek team hopes that Mustafa Shalaby and Nabil Dunga will recover before the upcoming match against Al-Ahly in the African Super Cup, next Friday.
