Pioli chooses a goalkeeper coach from different categories

Italian Stefano Pioli, Al-Nasr's new coach, made his first decisions after taking over as coach of the Al-Asmi team, yesterday, Wednesday.

Pioli took over the leadership of Al-Nasr, succeeding Portuguese Luis Castro, who was dismissed from coaching the team one day after the 1-1 draw against Iraqi Al-Shorta in the AFC Elite Champions League competition.

Pioli arrived in Riyadh last night and signed the Al-Nasr training contract, after which he began his career immediately and led the first training session for the yellow team.

According to what the sources reported, Pioli did not bring with him a goalkeeping coach and was content with seeking the help of Algerian Masoud Ismail from the Sunni sector.

The Saudi press indicated that it is not known whether Pioli will recommend hiring a specific goalkeeper coach or will continue to rely on his alternative option.

Al-Nasr will host its counterpart Al-Ettifaq tomorrow, Friday, in the fourth round of the Saudi Roshan League competitions.
