The date of the draw for the new Egyptian League matches
The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association announced the new system for the Egyptian League Championship for the new season 2024-2025 and the date of the draw for the confrontations.
Al-Ahly Club won the title last season 3023-2024, and maintained the championship for two consecutive seasons.
The next season of the league will be held in a single round of 17 rounds, and instead of competing in a second round, the 18 clubs will be divided into two groups of 9 teams.
The teams will compete The top 9 finishers will win the league title, and those from 10th to 18th will compete for relegation, and the season will have 26 rounds instead of 34 as usual.
The draw for the upcoming season’s matches in its new form will also be held in the first week of next October, according to what the association announced.
