Al-Ahly team’s travel date to Riyadh to meet Zamalek
Former Zamalek star Ahmed Hassan, citing a source inside Al-Ahly club, announced the date of Al-Ahmar’s travel to Riyadh to face Zamalek in the African Super Cup. .
Ahmed Hassan said on Facebook: “Source: Marcel Kohler sets September 25 to travel to Riyadh in preparation for the African Super Cup, while Samir Adly, the administrative director, has completed all special procedures.” The delegation will travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and contact the organizing company to arrange the trip.”
Ahly will meet Kenya's Jormahia in the second leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League next Saturday.
Ahly coach Marcel Kohler considers the Gormahia match a final rehearsal to try out some players before the Zamalek match in the African Super Cup, which will be held on September 27th.
