Hashem Sorour attacks Al-Nasr management
Hashim Sorour, the former Al-Nasr star, strongly attacked the “Al-Alami” management due to its failure to choose deals during the past summer Mercato.
Al-Nasr did not sign major deals during the summer Mercato, as happened with other Saudi clubs, as the club management contented itself with including the Brazilian duo Wesley Teixeira and Angelo Gabriel.
Sorour said on the “X” platform: “What happens in Al-Nasr and its fans is forbidden. With these contracts, the team will not reach the top five positions. If otherwise, I will leave the sport forever.”
He continued: “What we see in the selections is evidence of what I am saying. I am talking about the capabilities of the new players, not the level at which they appeared in their first matches.”
He explained: “As for their levels, they qualify them to play with Shabab Al-Nasr and not the first team. This is my personal opinion, and I hope I am wrong.”
He concluded: “The contracts are not at the level of Al-Nasr, and are not compared to the contracts of clubs competing for championships this season, and whoever sees otherwise does not understand anything about evaluating players.”
