Fattouh’s position on participating against Al-Ahly in the Super Cup

Zamalek club has determined its position on the participation of Ahmed Fattouh, the team's left back, against Al-Ahly in the African Super Cup on September 27, after the player was released from prison on bail.

Fatouh was released from prison today, Monday, on bail, in the case of running over a police officer while driving his car under the influence of drugs.

Zamalek, the African Confederation champion, will meet Al-Ahly, the African Champions League title holder, in the Super Cup match in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Sources revealed that the player is outside the accounts of the technical staff led by Portuguese Jose Gomez due to Fattouh’s suffering from the accident and his lack of physical and technical readiness.

Zamalek welcomes the return of the left-back to training if the player wishes to do so.

Zamalek will follow up on the legal procedures to find out the possibility of him traveling with the team delegation to Saudi Arabia for psychological support.
