The Portuguese Luis Castro, Al-Nasr coach, responded to those calling for his dismissal from coaching the team due to poor results, the most recent of which was the exciting draw with Al-Ahly in the Saudi League Clasico.

Voices calling for Luis Castro’s departure from Al-Nasr training rose after the fatal 1-1 draw against Al-Ahly in El Clásico, round 3 of the Saudi League, last Friday.

Castro was at the head of the Al-Nasr team delegation that arrived in Iraq in preparation for meeting the police in the first round of the AFC Champions League matches for the elite, tomorrow, Monday.

Castro said, during the press conference for the match, in response to rumors about his impending dismissal: “I have never been dismissed from any club before.”

He continued, saying: “My focus at the present time is on the team’s next match against the Iraqi police and winning it tomorrow.”

He added: “Unfortunately, people have become judgmental.” “Only working from the results.”

He continued: “I do not care whether it is my last match with Al-Nasr or not; The important thing is that I do my work to the fullest and work every day to develop myself.”
