Al-Ahly threatens to withdraw from the Egyptian Super Cup
Khaled El-Ghandour, the former Zamalek star, confirmed Al-Ahly club’s desire to withdraw from the Egyptian Super Cup.
Al-Ghandour said on his program “Axis Stadium”: “Al-Ahly threatens to withdraw from the Egyptian Super Cup, not the African Super Cup, because Al-Ahly club believes that Marwan Hamdy, the Pyramids player, insulted Al-Ahly fans, and he was not punished.” ".
He added: “On the other hand, Al-Ahly club is upset about not imposing a penalty on Gomez, the technical director of Zamalek, even though he pushed the ruling, and then Vice President Mohamed Farouk left. The Referees Committee confirmed that the referee did not write anything related to the incident in his report.
He concluded: “Al-Ahly believes that the sanctions must be implemented on everyone, as they were implemented on Kahraba and a number of players.”
