Mbappe: I'm waiting for the Champions League nights, and this is my opinion of Vinicius
Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe appeared in press statements, after yesterday’s 2-0 victory over Sociedad in the fifth round of the Spanish League.
The player said: “ We understood that the match would be difficult and in the end we won. We suffered a little because we played against a good team. We have to keep winning more matches to get to where we want to go.”
He added: “In every match I get better, in every match I understand better what the team, my teammates and the coach need.”
And about his communication with Vinicius: “We try to look out for each other.” Some are in training to create communication and help the team. He is a great player and I am happy to play with him at Real Madrid. The important thing is the goals, not who takes the penalty kick, and in the end we scored the goals.”
He concluded: “Your first appearance in the Champions League with a Real Madrid shirt? It is very important. I came to Madrid to experience this type of night. As I said on the first day, I am in a state of concentration. We want the win to start well because the Champions League Europe has changed in this new way.”
