Slott explains the reasons for the loss to Nottingham
Liverpool coach Arne Sloat appeared in press statements after the 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, in the fourth round of the Premier League.
The coach said: “The result was... Very disappointing and we cannot be happy with how the match went. It was a choppy match and we did not create any chances.”
He added: “We just have to look at ourselves, we have to be. Better. We lost the ball many times around the penalty area, and that was not good enough. We have to be better with the ball.”
He concluded: “It was not our decisions "And our execution was good enough. Overall, we defended very well but the fast players came in and made it difficult. We took a lot of risks and in the end the goal was very good."
