Ahmed Hassan, the former Egyptian national team star, revealed a request submitted by Pyramids to CAF due to the death of Ihab Galal, the former Ismaily coach.
Ahmed Hassan said on his official Facebook account: “The Pyramids Club submitted an official request to wear black armbands and hold a minute of silence for the soul of the late Captain Ihab Jalal, during the Rwandan army match in... Champions League".
Ihab Jalal's funeral took place today after the noon prayer from the Hassan Sharbatly Mosque in the assembly.
Ihab Jalal died yesterday, Wednesday, at the age of 57 after suffering a stroke.
