Hossam Aouar is undergoing a treatment session

The Al-Ittihad team’s medical staff is trying to treat Algerian midfielder Houssem Aouar after he suffered a muscle injury while he was with his country’s national team during the international break.

According to what the newspaper reported, “ Sports”, Hossam Aouar underwent a treatment session at the Al-Ittihad Club headquarters, yesterday, Wednesday.

The newspaper indicated that Aouar spent his time at the club headquarters between the medical clinic and the fitness hall.

Al-Ittihad also performed a regular training session yesterday in preparation for facing Al-Wahda next Sunday, as part of the Saudi Roshan League competition.

The technical staff will decide within the next three days whether Houssem Aouar is ready to play the Al-Wahda match or not.

French coach Laurent Blanc gave the Saudi and foreign international players a day of rest, so they could join group training on Thursday.
