Ashraf Dari, a player for the Moroccan national team and Al-Ahly of Egypt, suffered an injury with his country’s national team before facing Lesotho in the second round of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Dari started in the Atlantic Lions formation, where coach Walid Regragui mainly relied on him, but he suffered an injury before the start of the match, and was transferred. He was replaced by Younis Abdel Hamid.
