According to reports Saudi journalist Hossam Awar, the Al-Ittihad club midfielder, will be absent from the field for 7 to 10 days, due to a connective muscle injury, and will undergo a rehabilitation program after his return to Jeddah.
Awar will miss the match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Wahda, scheduled for next Sunday in the third round of the Saudi Professional League Championship.
Hossam Awar joined the ranks of the Saudi club Al-Ittihad, last summer, coming from Roma, Italy, with a 3-year contract.
