Gomez refuses to include Carrillo

A source within the Zamalek club revealed the fact that there were negotiations from the White Castle management to contract with Peruvian Andre Carrillo, the former Saudi Al Hilal club player.

Carrillo was linked to moving to Zamalek club, during the current summer transfer period, to strengthen the team’s ranks, at the request of Portuguese coach Jose Gomez, the technical director, to include a new striker.

Carrillo was presented to Zamalek officials during the past few days through one of the players’ agents, but the Portuguese coach had reservations about including the player, due to many matters.

The Portuguese coach believes that Andre Carrillo’s position has more than one high-level player, including Abdullah Al-Saeed, Nasser Maher and Mohamed Shehata.
