Ahmed Hegazy reveals the reason for his departure from the national team camp

Ahmed Hegazy, the Egyptian national team defender, revealed the reason for his departure from the Egyptian team camp, which is competing in the qualifiers for the 2025 African Cup of Nations.

Hegazy wrote on his account on the Instagram platform: “I did not apologize for the national team camp, as I was excluded from the position of coach of the Egyptian national team this morning, and to respond to the situation in yesterday’s match, I also did not apologize for not participating.”
