Mahmoud Al-Khatib insists that Amir Tawfiq remain in his position
The journalist, Muhammad Al-Laithi, confirmed in radio statements that Mahmoud Al-Khatib, President of Al-Ahly Club, insists that Amir Tawfiq, the club’s contracting director, remain in his position.
Al-Laithi said on “On Sport FM” radio: “Mahmoud Al-Khatib rejected the pressure on Amir Tawfiq, the club’s contract manager, via social media.”
He explained: “Mahmoud Al-Khatib insisted on keeping Amir Tawfiq in his position, rejecting the demands of some on social media to dismiss Amir after the end of the current summer transfer period.”
He continued: “Al-Khatib reassured Amir Tawfiq about remaining in his position in particular and that he is performing his role to the fullest, according to the assurances of the club president.”
