Faraj Amer said on Facebook: “Tarek Alaa, a junior from Smouha Club and a first-team player in the right-back position, was sold to the Pyramids Club for seventeen million pounds and a player loan.”
The Pyramids Club management had completed several deals this summer, most notably: Abdel Rahman Magdy, the Ismaily winger, the Nigerian Siddiq Ojola, the Ceramica Cleopatra winger, and Youssef Obama, the Zamalek playmaker.
Pyramids Club won the Egypt Cup championship after defeating Z Club in the final with a score of 1-0.
