Fosinha: Salah is one of the best strikers in the world

Ferdi Fusenha, the Cape Verdean national team goalkeeper, commented on the upcoming confrontation with Egypt, tomorrow, Thursday, as part of the matches of the first round of qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which is hosted by Morocco.

Wozinha said in his statements: “The Egyptian national team is one of the best teams that plays football at the global level, and we know very well its strength on the African continent.”

He added: “Playing in front of the Egyptian fans certainly makes our task very difficult, and we know that Mohamed Salah is one of the best strikers in the world.”

He continued: “The Egyptian national team is distinguished by having a large group of players who participate with each other on an ongoing basis, given that most of them are from the local league.”

He concluded. “We faced the Egyptian national team in the African Cup of Nations, and we had qualified from the group stage at that time, and they were trying to qualify. We will face them this time like any opponent.”
