The Egyptian League begins next October

Tharwat Sweilem, a member of the Club Association, revealed the start date of the next season 2024-2025 of the Egyptian Professional League Championship.

Tharwat Sweilem said, in television statements, There are 3 proposals regarding the Egyptian League championship system in the next season that were presented to all teams.

Amer Hussein, Chairman of the Competitions Committee, is also working to end the competition according to The three proposals, adding that the league will start in the last week of next October.

He continued that the most likely thing is to play a one-round league, then the top ten players will play a round in order to determine the champion, while teams from 11 to 18 will play a round in order to determine the relegated ones, which is Which will make the tournament end next May.

But the decision is not in the hands of the Club Association, because there is a sponsorship partnership and television broadcasting rights.

Tharwat Sweilem concluded his speech by saying that a new club association will be elected on the first of next October, but the current association is the one that will determine the shape of the Egyptian League in the next edition.
