The Egyptian Football Association has set the date for the Super Cup to be held next October, with the participation of the Al-Ahly Quartet, Zamalek, Pyramids and Ceramica Cleopatra, in the Emirates.
According to press sources, the Football Association has decided to hold the Egyptian Super Cup from October 17 to 21 in the Emirates.
The Football Association officials have backed away from the previous date for the Super Championship, from 4 to 7 next October, due to the international agenda.
Al-Ahly Club, as the Egyptian League champion, Pyramids Club, as the Egyptian Cup champion, and Ceramica Cleopatra, the League Cup champion, participate alongside Zamalek, which obtained the golden card.
Al-Ahly Club won the first edition of the Egyptian Super Cup, after defeating Modern Sport 4-2 in extra time, which was held at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.
