Al-Ahly doctor: Karim Fouad’s surgery is very reassuring
Al-Ahly Club announced the success of the surgery performed by Karim Fouad, the first team player, after he was injured during his participation in the Smouha match.
Karim Fouad was injured during the Smouha match last season, as medical examinations conducted by the player in Cairo revealed that he had a torn cruciate ligament.
Dr. Ahmed Jaballah, Al-Ahly’s doctor, said in press statements to the official website that Karim Fouad performed a successful surgery on the cruciate ligament in Germany, with the knowledge of one of the senior specialist doctors.
Al-Ahly’s doctor indicated that Karim Fouad’s surgery was very reassuring and he will rest for several days, after which he will begin physical therapy according to the specified treatment program and return to Cairo next Monday evening.
