The technical staff of Zamalek Club, led by Portuguese Jose Gomez, decided to exclude Mahmoud Hamdy “Al-Wansh” and Mohamed Abdel Shafi, the team’s duo, from the Alexandria camp, as part of preparation for the new season.

Gomez decided to continue the Zamalek duo in Cairo, in order to continue their rehabilitation program, in agreement with the medical staff led by Dr. Mohamed Osama, due to the lack of readiness.

This came, in light of the desire of the technical staff to have ready elements in the Burj Al Arab camp, and the medical staff developed a special rehabilitation program for the duo, which is implemented on a daily basis at the club’s stadium at the White Castle headquarters.

The Zamalek camp began yesterday, Friday, and will continue until next September 7, during which the team will play three friendly matches, starting with facing the Saudi Al-Ansar team tomorrow, Saturday.
