Al-Ahly Jeddah of Saudi Arabia prevailed over Chelsea of England, in its negotiations with the Italian club Napoli to sign a contract with Nigerian Victor Osimhen, during the current summer transfer period.
The management of Al-Ahly Jeddah Club is seeking to sign Osimhen this summer, at the request of German coach Matthias Jaissele, to support the team’s attack during the current season.

The official offer submitted by the English club Chelsea includes the salary that Osimhen wants, but the offer is low, while Napoli wants to sell the Nigerian striker to Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia.
The price offered is 65 million euros, and Osimhen will receive a salary worth 30 million euros per season with the Saudi club.
The Welshman, Lee Congerton, Al-Ahly Club’s sporting director, will hold a meeting with Osimhen’s agent, in the coming hours, in Rome, in order to finalize the deal.
