Absence of 21 players from the Egyptian national team camp
The Egyptian national team's camp, led by technical director Hossam Hassan, kicked off this Wednesday afternoon, as part of preparations for the Cape Verde and Botswana matches scheduled for September 6 and 10 of next month.
The Egyptian national team is preparing to face Cape Verde and Botswana, in the first and second round of the African qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals scheduled to be held in Morocco.
The Egyptian national team camp, which started in a Cairo hotel, witnessed the attendance of only 6 players: Hamdi Fathi, Mahdi Soliman, Mohamed Al-Shami, Ahmed Ramadan Beckham, Khaled Sobhi, and Osama Faisal.
The Egyptian Football Association explained, through its account on the social networking site “Facebook”, that it had notified all clubs of the start date of the Egyptian national team camp on August 28 of this month.
