Special award for Ronaldo from UEFA

The European Football Association announced today that it awarded Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nasr Club, a special award thanks to his career in the Champions League with the quartet of Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United of England, Real Madrid of Spain and Juventus of Italy during the past years.

According to a statement by the European Football Association (UEFA) on its official website, Cristiano Ronaldo will receive a special award from Aleksander Ceferin, President of UEFA, thanks to his historic impact on the Champions League.

UEFA indicated in its statement that Ronaldo will receive the special award thanks to his 18-year career in the Champions League.

The Don will be honored with the award during the Champions League group stage draw for the next edition 2024-2025, next Thursday, which will be held in the French Principality of Monaco.

Ronaldo scored, with the Sporting quartet. Lisbon, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus, 140 goals in 183 Champions League matches.
