Saud Abdul Hamid is the first Saudi to play professionally in the Italian League

Saud Abdul Hamid, right back of Al Hilal, wrote his name in the history of Saudi football with his expected move to the Italian ranks of Roma in an unprecedented deal.


Saud Abdul Hamid, 25 years old, will become the first Saudi player to play professionally in the Italian League when his move to Roma is officially completed within the next few hours.


Saud is preparing to travel to Italy in the coming hours, in order to complete the procedures for his transfer to the ranks of the Roma Club.


The Saudi national team star will undergo a medical examination after his arrival in Italy, and then he will officially sign his joining contract with Roma, in a historic transfer deal.


Saud Abdul Hamid, who shined in the national team and Al Hilal shirt, was under the microscope of many English, French and Italian clubs.


During the current summer period, his name has been linked to: Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Olympique Marseille, Rennes, and Roma.
